Pat Helms, Tour de Corn board member, is shown presenting a check to Lonnie Thurmond, City Administrator, for the donation of a bicycle rack at the East Prairie swimming pool complex.  Also shown, is Ms. Teresa Borders, pool Manager.  To date, Tour de Corn has given more than $3,500.00 in charity donations back to the local community from the proceeds of the 2007 ride.

Tour de Corn recently donated $2,400.00 to the East Prairie Nutrition Center.  Shown presenting the check is Bill Brewer, a member of the Tour de Corn Committee and board member of the Nutrition Center.  Accepting the check is Mrs. Sari Kersey, Nutrition Center Administrator.  Funds donated will help purchase a new van for the center.

James Furlong, Tour board member, is shown presenting a check for $100.00 to Richard Logan. Mississippi County Sheriff Reserves, in appreciation for their assistance with the ride.
